TAMPA, Fla. — Michigan State and UCLA, a storied program of the present and the most storied one in the history of the game, have a bit of a conundrum entering their first meeting in an NCAA tournament game tonight: Both teams commonly play games in which the winning team scores in the 60s, yet both want to run, and both fear the other's running game.
Just about all they know for sure is someone will outrun the other, force the opponent into strategic subservience, and probably win because of it.
