Some highs: an appearance in the 2007 national final, this season's No. 1 ranking and his appearance on a March Madness regional Sports Illustrated cover this week. "That's something you dream of," he says.
The lowest low: In December 2008, Lighty broke his left foot and sat out as a redshirt. Lighty thought something good could come from the injury. His teammates call him Mr. Optimistic.
"God had it happen for me to be on this team," Lighty says. "Hopefully it will propel us to the national championship."
